About me.
I am a commercial artist/cartoonist/caricaturist with more than forty years experience in the graphics arts trade.

My usual method of operations is very simple. You know what you want to see illustrated or represented with graphic artwork. I become your "artistic" hands. In our first meeting, I bring my sketch box and sheets of card stock paper. We talk about your project (no charge for this first meeting) and I make rough sketches based on what you tell me is in your mind. When (and if) we have come to a meeting of the minds in terms of what you are looking for ,based on the preliminary sketches, I agree to return to my studio to refine the artwork and bring it up to a level suitable for publication as hard copy printing or Internet graphics. If you like what you see, you will sign a work order for me to proceed on your project.

And, at that point, we are in business together. All work from this point forward is billable at my standard rate of $40.00 per hour. An estimate will be provided regarding approximately how many hours I belive the project will take.

History

My first commercial art studio was based in NYC
in 1969. Most of my clientel during those days were companies connected with the garment trade but also included Grant's Stores, Volkwagen International, ITT, Macy's Stores, UARCO Business Forms and various advertising agencies in the Greater Metropolitan Area.

In the early seventies, I moved my business to Upstate New York. Clients included Cambridge Electronics, West Point Military Academy, The Concord Hotel, Ross Industries, US Army Recruiting Command, NYS Department of Corrections and a variety of major manufacturing, wholesaling and retail businesses.

I moved my business to the Lee County area of Florida in 1991 and have been operating in this region ever since.
